Areas We Reach Across Jacksonville and Duval County

Jacksonville is a consolidated city-county. The city and Duval County merged in 1968, and the 2020 census counted 949,611 people in the city and 995,567 in the county. Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach and the town of Baldwin stayed outside the city limits. Baldwin is not in this service area. The areas here run from the downtown core out through the older neighborhoods and along the beaches.

Ground and access shape each placement more than distance does. Riverside, Avondale and Springfield have older houses on tight lots, which can leave little room to park a truck beside the work. Heat matters everywhere in the county, so summer servicing is planned for each area rather than copied from a schedule. Permits follow the jurisdiction. Events of 500 people or more in the city go through the Office of Special Events, as the event permit guide explains. Events in Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach and Orange Park are arranged with that city or town, or with the property owner. Fort Caroline National Memorial and Kingsley Plantation are National Park Service ground, so events there go through the Park Service.
